Q: What are our payment options?
A: To reserve your lot you can pay your deposit by cash, traveler's check, money order, bank check, MasterCard, Visa or a Personal checks are accepted prior to your arrival date.
Q: May our pet come camping with us?
A: We welcome your pets with open arms! There is, however, a two pet limit per site. We have an off leash dog park for your furry family members to run free and have a great time. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times outside of the dog park and may not be walked by a child without an adult present. We do require that our campers clean up after their pets anywhere within the Park.
Q: May we have visitors while camping?
A: We do allow visitors, but we do ask that you please inform any visitors of our policies.
Q: May we have another family set up their tent and stay on our site?
A: We have an eight person maximum per site. If the two families combined have fewer members than eight, then they are welcome to stay on our site. If the two families combined are more than eight, there is a nightly fee of $5.00 for their tent.
Q: May we have a campfire at the site?
A: Currently, being that we are under a burn ban, we do not allow campfires of any sort in our facilities.
Q: Does the Spreading Antlers offer apply any discounts, such as AAA or Good Sam's?
A: At this time we do not apply any discounts other than the occasional discounts offered.
Q: May we bring life vests or other flotation devices into the pools?
A: You may use US Coast Guard Approved life vests in the pool. Upon entering the pool area, please be advised that our facilities are not manned by pool attendants so you are swimming at your own risk.
Q: May my child use the pools without my presence?
A: Please be advised that our swimming facilities are not manned by lifeguards. Therefore, anyone under the age of 16 must have an adult (21years+) to accompany them when within the pool area.
Q: May we bring our bicycles?
A: Bike riding is allowed anywhere in the park with the exception of the hills or around the office, the main building, on the playgrounds, or any other place that our campers tend to gather. All bikes must be returned to your site by dusk. While we recommend that everyone wear a helmet, it is Texas state law that anyone under the age of 16 must wear a helmet while bicycle riding.
Q: May I use my motorcycle in the park?
A: We are sorry to say that motorcycles are not permitted to be operated while in the park. We do invite you to park them in our monitored motorcycle parking shelter near the main entrance, located across from our office.\
Q: Am I allowed to use my golf cart in the park? Do you rent golf carts?
A: Unfortunately, due to potential liability issues, we cannot allow the use of golf carts, ATV’s or any motorized, non registered vehicles or items within the park. However, (1) if your golf cart is a registered street legal vehicle and (2) you provide proof of registration and insurance to our office (3) are over the age of 21 years (4) hold a valid drivers license & (5) abide by all the laws of the Registry of Motor Vehicles, you may utilize that golf cart in the park providing you are the sole operator of the vehicle.
Q: Is alcohol permitted?
A: Yes, alcohol may be consumed on your own site. Please do not put alcohol containers in campfires. Consumption of alcoholic beverages by anyone under the age of 21, with or without parental permission is prohibited. However, keep in mind that no glass containers are allowed in pool area.
Q: Do you offer WiFi Internet access?
A: Yes. There is a main hotspot at our recreational building and it is no additional cost. WiFi signal has also been installed throughout other areas of the park; however, the most reliable is at the main hotspot.
Q: Do you provide trash pick-up at our site?
A: We do not pick up trash at your site. There are dumpsters across from our office where you can bring your trash to be disposed of. We recycle, so aluminum cans, plastic, glass, etc., must be separated and placed in the proper recycling bins. We can only accept common household garbage in our bins.
Q: I'm under 21 years old; can I register for a campsite?
A: Sorry, you must be 21 years or older to register for a site or sign the visitor registration form at Spreading Antlers RV Park. We reserve the right to deny campsites to persons under the age of 21 in order to maintain the peace, quiet, and tranquility of the campground for our campers.
Q: What Is Spreading Antlers' cancellation policy?
A: While we look forward to your stay with us, if you need to cancel there are a few different scenarios. Cancellations received more than 14 days in advance of your arrival date will receive a full refund less a $25 service charge. Cancellations received 7 to 14 days before the arrival date will receive a full refund less one night's fee. Cancellations received less than 7 days before arrival date are non-refundable. You may change your confirmed reservation dates with at least 7 days prior notification to your arrival in order to keep your deposit intact.

Q: What are our check-in and check-out times?
A: We will be awaiting your arrival 2PM-9PM. If you arrive after 9pm just check the office front door – your site assignment, directions and further instructions will be posted for you there. On your scheduled departure date your check out time is 12noon.
Q: What does the nightly/monthly site rate include?
A: The base rate includes two adults, one car or truck and one piece of camping equipment. Any additional campers, adults or children, will be required to pay an additional nightly/monthly fee. Each site at Spreading Antlers RV Park comes equipped with water, electricity with the majority of sites having sewer at no extra charge. Campers also have access to Spreading Antlers Community Pool, Onsite Laundry Facilities, and Free wifi internet access.
